On the video below, we explain how to do the famous Animal Races Drill. This is a great activity to do on the Jiu-Jitsu Kids Classes and will maintain your kids in great shape while developing coordination and strength.

Here are a few tips for you to run this drill at your school:

Ask the students to pick 5 animals;

Make sure you have drills for animals they pick;

Establish a start line and an finish line;

Students must cross the mats as fast as they can imitating the animal they chose.

Once students get to the finish line, they must jog back to the start line using the edges.

What BJJ Is To Ground Fighting, Wrestling Is To Take downs.

Jon Trenge’s Clinch Domination Takedown System Is The New Intelligent Way To Make Sizeable Improvements In Your Grappling Ability

Like BJJ, Wrestling is an art that can take years to perfect. There are thousands of techniques and setups that separate the good from the great, and there is arguably no better proving ground than Division I NCAA wrestling to separate the men from the boys. In the new Clinch Domination 6 DVD Set you will get an exclusive look into the fundamental set of techniques that made Jon Trenge a three-time All American in the Division I NCAA wrestling circuit. Jon shares an unprecedented look into the world of takedowns, and focuses on how to DOMINATE your opponent from the clinch.

Becoming An All American Wrestler in Div. I NCAA Competition Is Nothing Short Of Incredible.
… and to do it three times is unheard of.
Meet 3x NCAA All American Wrestler Jon Trenge

Jon was a 3x All-American (2nd, 2nd, 3rd) and a 3-time EIWA champion in 3 post-seasons, missing the 2001 post-season due to detached and torn retinae in February. That year, as a r/s freshman, he owned wins vs. the 2001 NCAA 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th place winners. The saga of his senior year in 2004-05 (Lehigh’s best team in more than 30 years) was converted into a popular movie, entitled: “Veritas: The Story of Jon Trenge.” His 5th place finish at the 2004 Olympic Trials is Lehigh’s highest since Bobby Weaver in 1984.

In short, Jon has competed at the highest levels and firmly carved out his place in wrestling history. His highly decorated career has won the hearts of fans and movie critics.
______________________________

K1, UFC, Kyokushinkai and Muay Thai are enjoying ever increasing popularity. People practicing Martial Arts, who want to train and fight in the Full Contact manner, will find a systematic guide to the development and long-term build up of their training. This guidebook provides a concept for Full Contact training and effective self-defence. One can imagine that Full Contact training would be a very hard and demanding martial art form, however, given adequate training, it can be undertaken completely without any danger. Karateka, who have been training in the traditional Karate form, will see in this book a possibility of combining the training suggestions given with their own learned style, thus making their training more varied and even more interesting.

Babu’s Informative 12 DVD Set is Unsurpassed And Is The New Intelligent Way To Make Sizeable Improvements In Your Grappling Ability

It’s not every day that you get to learn from the best of the best. But we’ve done all the leg work for you on this one! The new BABU: BJJ MASTERMIND 12 DVD SET is your ticket to getting THE SAME WORLD CLASS PROFESSIONAL BJJ INSTRUCTION THAT THE TOP LEVEL ATHLETES GET – and you don’t even have to leave your own home! You can’t find more reliable material than what is available on this set because let me tell you, this “Babu” guy is the real deal. But don’t just take our word for it, other professional MMA fighters have said as much, and even…

http://www.trainfightwin.com/Resources/BJJMastermind.html

Meet Sergio “Babu” Gasparelli
Sergio “Babu” Gasparelli is a well known BJJ black belt, Judo black belt, and certified Luta Livre instructor. He is also the BJJ “secret weapon” for many professional MMA fighters.
Why do we say this? You see, Babu used to be one of the head BJJ coaches at the famous Academia Black House MMA in Brazil.
After that, he was invited by Murillo Bustamante to train the fighters at another equally famous gym, namely Brazilian Top Team.
Lately Babu is working in Florida with UFC great Rashad Evans.
Now of course there is only one reason why Babu has been asked by so many top gyms and competitors to head up their jiu jitsu program – Babu knows his stuff!
Babu has probably forgotten more jiu jitsu than most black belts even know, in fact, Babu’s knowledge is so extensive he could be rightly called “the black belt to other black belts”!

Master Paulo Wesley Lopes teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Rio de Janeiro and is the head of the World BJJ Association. Numerous athletes come to him to take private lessons from all over the world. For the first time, Master Lopes has authorized the release of his private lessons.
The content of this media has no special effects or similar fancy footage. It was shot for his own library. This DVD is not recommended for beginners and intermediate athletes.
The techniques are not explained in great detail because they are directed towards Black Belts.

15 Mandatory Black Belt moves includes:

Gi choke on the false setup of the clock choke;
Double attack on the guard pass: armbar + leglock
Single leg with opponent’s gi around the leg;
Shoulder lock on the eri-seoi-nague;
‘Catranca’ lock on the mount;
‘Cobra’ choke on the mount and more!
Reviews:
“To train with Master Paulo was a great leap in my career. I’d like to be able one day to pay back all the lessons that he has taught me. Technically is not necessary to say anything. Still today, he will train with anyone interested, he has a true jiu-jitsu, and he shows that what makes the difference is the technique. Master Paulo helped me to become the athlete and person I am today, which is what changed the way I am in the fights. Lopes was more than just Professor for me, I will use his lessons for the rest of my life and take him as an example to be followed by myself and all of my students.”
